For the eleventh time the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded prizes to companies with contribution to the development of Bulgarian-German economic relations in the last 12 months. D-r Rudiger Hoben-Shtormer, President of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded the prize in the “open category” to “Refan Bulgaria” LTD since “the producer of perfumery and cosmetics has spent during 2014 a total amount of nearly 47 000 EU on donations for food, educational materials to orphanages, schools and foundations supporting sports , and for cultural events”.
The German economy Award for “Refan Bulgaria” LTD aims to contribute to the further development of German-Bulgarian economic relations and to motivate the companies for contacts with German partners. A jury of senior representatives of the German Embassy in Bulgaria, Germany Trade and Invest Agency, Institute for Market Economics, Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises,
German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Advisory Board "Industry" to the GBCCI defined the winner – Refan company.
This is yet another distinction for the cosmetic company which recently received, for the second time, the prize of Forbes Business Awards - this time for quality, and was announced for a Company of the Year. It is the only Bulgarian company - winner of the most prestigious European Quality Award from Paris, by the Global Trade Leaders’ Club, due to the quality of its products and its activity for stimulating the small and medium business, creating a franchise model valued at national and global levels. Furthermore, the most popular Bulgarian cosmetic brand Refan is also an award winner of the prize for the best Bulgarian franchise in Europe, for imposing a successful franchise model that offers recognizable products of world-class quality.
