The mud of Lake Pomorie lagoon is curative. It is black, fine-textured and rich in hydrogen sulfide, magnesium, chlorides, calcium, potassium, ferrous compounds, sulfates etc. It has the characteristic odor of sulfur which is one of the most curative compounds of the mud. Sulfur is colloidal which facilitates its easier absorption through the skin. The mud stimulates skin regeneration and has antiseptic and hypoallergenic properties. Sacred Lake Soap contains curative mud taken from the Pomorie lake bottom. It is used in its natural form, without any further processing, in order to preserve its highly curative and dermatological efficiency to the utmost.
