Freshly harvested olive leaves contain over 30 different polyphenols with a synergistic effect. They are responsible for the strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of the olives and for the bitter taste of high-quality virgin olive oil. Olive leaves contain twice the antioxidants of green tea and have more potent antioxidant properties than vitamin C. Olive leaf extract and olive oil are a very powerful tool in the fight against premature skin aging.
